Replace the upper fixing tube plastic centering piece with this 3D Printed piece. Printed in ASA plastic it is designed to withstand the high temperatures of your commercial dishwasher. It comes with a 1 year warranty. Tested and fits on a Meiko Upster H500. (LOCATION 6 on the exploded diagram)
Meiko wants you to buy this as a whole assembly for close to $400. It is just the plastic piece that fails over time and the stainless shaft is usually fine.
To install;
Remove the old plastic piece and clean the stainless shaft
Put the Plastic piece in some hot water (around 90 degrees) to help soften
Remove the bottom flange on the stainless shaft
Using a hydraulic press slowly press the piece square and straight onto the shaft.
If you cannot install yourself you can post your old piece to us for install for an additional $90 workshop charge.
