The legs on these cheap clothes airers are prone to breaking. I designed this not to save money but to save waste really.
This fits on the leg as shown. It may fit the diagonally opposite side, but I haven't tested it. You can remove the old one with a screwdriver and twisting. Re-use the screw and screw hole to fix the new part in place.
