Meet the Owner

Hi, I’m Kris—an electrician with nearly 15 years in the industry and a lifelong passion for repairs.

I started fixing electronics at 14 years old, beginning with iPods and mobile phones. By 18, I was juggling a full-time electrical apprenticeship while running a small electronics repair business in Roxby Downs, where I repaired iPhones, laptops, and computers for the local community.

At 25, I launched my own electrical contracting business, focusing on air conditioning, solar, and general electrical work. But what I truly enjoyed—and became known for—was fixing things others couldn’t. I developed a real niche in repairing air conditioners, commercial equipment, ovens, and other appliances that most electricians wouldn’t bother with.

For the last three years, I’ve also been a volunteer at a local Repair Café, helping people fix household appliances, troubleshoot electronics, and learn basic repair skills. This hands-on community work has reinforced my belief that repairing and reusing is always better than throwing things away. Seeing the impact of small repairs—whether it's extending the life of an appliance or saving someone the cost of a replacement—has been incredibly rewarding.

Now, I’m bringing all of that experience into Adelaide Electrical Salvage, where I can fully focus on repairs and salvaged sales—helping people find affordable solutions while reducing unnecessary waste.
